The Women in Science Fellowship
Proceeds from the event will fund The Women’s Board Women in Science Fellowship. Established in 2000, the Fellowship is awarded each year to an outstanding female graduate student who is pursuing an advanced degree in the natural sciences. The Fellowship enables these talented scientists to fully immerse themselves in their research and utilize the Museum’s resources to collect data essential to the completion of their dissertations. The 2012-2013 Fellow is Charlene McCord and this video follows her throughout her fellowship year at The Field Museum.
