“Small book containing 60 samples of Indian textiles from the pueblos of N. E. Bolivia. Bears date of 1795. Made up by friar for missionary.” Accessioned in 1923.

The frontspiece is labeled “Libro de muestras de los texidos [tejidos] y razon de los demas efetos y frutos que han producido diez pueblos de este provincia de Noxos en el presente año de 1795." (This book is labelled in Spanish, "Book of samples of the textiles and information on the other goods and fruits that ten towns of this province of Noxos have produced in this current year of 1795.") It is 10.75 cm long, 7.6 cm wide, and 3.5 cm thick, hand bound and hand written, and lists cacao, sugar, coffee, and bales of wool and cotton.
