Audio Tour
Visitors to the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibition at The Field Museum will have a unique chance to customize their tour of the ancient Egyptian treasures. For the first time at The Field Museum, a bilingual audio tour, developed exclusively for this exhibition, will be available to visitors. The tour will make exploring the world of King Tut an unforgettable experience for English-speaking and Spanish-speaking guests.
Narrated by Omar Sharif (English) and Jorge Ramos (Spanish), the audio tour includes interviews with Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, National Geographic’s executive vice president for mission programs Terry Garcia, and exhibition curator David Silverman. Original music, sound effects, and interviews will provide visitors with rare insights into this extraordinary exhibition, allowing them to listen to as many or as few audio tour stops as they would like. The tour is approximately 35 minutes in length, and the high quality stereo equipment is compatible for the hearing impaired.
The audio tour rental price is $6 for general visitors, $5 for Museum members, students, and children. Group discounts are available. For more information about the audio tour, call The Field Museum at 312.922.9410.
The audio tour for Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs was developed by Arts and Exhibitions International.
