What is the web address I should use to purchase my discounted member tickets?
Members can go to www.fieldmuseum.org/tickets. From there, follow a series of prompts about your membership level to get to the point where you enter your exclusive member on-line ticket sales password.
How many tickets will I be able to purchase via the web?
The maximum number of discounted member tickets you will be able to purchase via the web for Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs is listed below:
- Student Members: 1 Discounted Ticket
- Individual, National Affiliate and Senior Members: 2 Discounted Tickets
- Family and Life Members: 4 Discounted Tickets
- Royal Tut Members: 4 Discounted Tickets
You will not be able to purchase additional tickets for household members (i.e., if you have a family membership and need a 5th ticket) or tickets at the retail rate during this transaction. If your transaction requires any of these tickets, please call the Membership Ticketing Hotline at 312-665-7705 to be serviced. The Hotline hours are Monday – Friday 8:30a.m.-4:30p.m. (CST) or visit the Field Museum on-site box office. A $3.75 per transaction service fee will apply for all ticket purchases made through the Hotline.
What if I don’t buy all of my allocated member discount tickets in one on-line transaction?
While we suggest that you buy all of your allocated tickets in one on-line transaction, it is not necessary. Since your password will become invalid upon use, you can purchase any remaining tickets in your membership allocation via the Field Museum’s Membership Ticketing Hotline at 312-665-7705. The Hotline hours are Monday – Friday 8:30a.m.-4:30p.m. (CST) or visit the Field Museum on-site box office. A $3.75 per transaction service fee will apply for all ticket purchases made through the Hotline.
Is there a service fee for this on-line transaction?
Yes. There is a per ticket fee (which can vary depending on the number of ticketed exhibitions you wish to see), plus an overall $3.00 service fee applied to the order.
What dates can I buy tickets to Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs?
The exhibition runs from Friday May 26, 2006 – Monday January 1, 2007. With this on-line transaction, you will not be able to buy tickets for the Member Viewings for this exhibition (May 21, 22, 23, and 25, 2006 and June 4, 2006). If you wish to use your allocated King Tut tickets during the member Viewing dates, you will need to call the Membership Ticketing Hotline at 312-665-7705 to purchase those tickets. The Hotline hours are Monday – Friday 8:30a.m.-4:30p.m. (CST) or visit the Field Museum on-site box office. A $3.75 per transaction service fee will apply for all ticket purchases made through the Hotline.
What if I lose my password?
Call the Field Museum Membership office at 312-665-7700 if you have lost your password. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30a.m.-4:30p.m. (CST). Note: your password is different than your Membership ID number. Your Membership ID number will not work for this transaction.
Can I make exchanges and/or get refunds?
Member discounted tickets are non-refundable. However, members are allowed to exchange their tickets for an alternative date. Ticket availability for alternate dates is not guaranteed.
For Student, Individual, National Affiliate, Senior and Family Members only one exchange per membership will be allowed during the run of the exhibition. All exchange requests must be made within five business days of the date on the tickets currently being held. A $3.75 per transaction service fee will apply for all ticket exchanges for King Tut made through the Membership Ticketing Hotline.

Can I make any other on-line ticket purchases with this password?
At this time, members can only purchase tickets to Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs on-line. However, please hold onto your exclusive member on-line sales password. The Field Museum hopes to bring you this service for future temporary exhibitions. Your password will be valid for those purchases.
