Land use was the focus of the interns' projects in 2004. They developed a specific research question with community partners, conducted ethnographic research in surrounding neighborhoods and presented a report and dissemination proposal to partners at the end of the summer. Partners were leaders of community based organizations throughout Chicago. Specifically, interns conducted research in the communities of West Garfield Park, South Chicago, Englewood, North Kenwood/Oakland and Chicago Lawn. Learn what we found in the summer of 2004!
