Tomomi Suwa

Keller Science Action Center

Tomomi joined Keller Science Action Center in 2017. She brings her background in ecology and plant biology to the Conservation Tool Team.  Her primary goal is to optimize the quality and utility of the Conservation Tools program’s digital assets. She is currently focusing on Field Museum’s Live Plant Photos database, which is a resource for plant identification in the Neotropics. She also recently launched a new community science project, Rainforest Flowers, to tag plant photos to enhance search capabilities of Live Plant Photos website.
