Look for early fall migrants like warblers and flycatchers.

Bemis Woods is a forest preserve just west of Chicago, with forest and forest edge habitat. It is an outstanding forest preserve for birding, with nearly 200 species of birds having been recorded in Bemis and the adjacent forest preserves. These trips are led by Doug Stotz and are co-sponsored by the Chicago Audubon Society.
