Birding with The Field at Perkins Woods

Male Pine Warbler

A bird walk in the peak of fall migration, looking for warblers and many other southbound migrants.

Perkins Woods is a very small forest preserve in Evanston. Despite covering just 7.5 acres, it can have excellent birding during migration, with about 150 species having been recorded there. This trip is led by Josh Engel and John Bates and is co-sponsored by the Evanston North-Shore Bird Club.
