Dozin' with the Dinos

Families and groups with children ages 6-12: grab your sleeping bags for an overnight stay at the Museum! You’ll explore the Museum by flashlight and see science in action, dissect owl pellets, learn to illustrate specimens, and play instruments from around the world. Sensory Saturday

Free with advance registration. The Crown Family PlayLab at The Field Museum is hosting Sensory Saturdays, a sensory-friendly morning of hands-on exploration and discovery. We understand that some children may have specific sensory processing needs in order to have a great museum experience. So, we are opening the doors of the Crown Family PlayLab one hour early, from 9-10am, to meet the needs of those families. Registration will be capped at 40 guests so that families can enjoy a crowd-free space.

Dino Camp: Session 1

Calling all preschoolers and caregivers! Join us for a unique two-day summer camp exploring the world of dinosaurs. Dino Camp is an early childhood camp, designed expressly for young explorers ages 3-4 with their caregivers. During the two days of discovery we will learn how to spot a dinosaur, see SUE’s skull, dig for dino bones and much more. The program takes place from 9:00am - 11:30am.  *All campers must be between the ages of 3-4 and attend with an adult caregiver.
