This event takes place off-site at the "Set in Stone" Gathering Space (map below). 

COME AND LEARN ABOUT

  • "Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Legend: The Story of Chang-E" storytelling
  • Illinois birds & native prairie plants with activities led by Field Museum Scientists

ENJOY AND GIVE BACK

  • Chinese lantern making activity
  • Free food and mooncakes
  • Community prairie planting

Please wear weather appropriate clothing, close-toed, shoes, and to bring a water bottle. Gloves and tools will be provided. This is an outdoor event, rain or shine.

FREE SHUTTLE BUS FROM CHINATOWN

Ping Tom Memorial Park Field House 1700 S. Wentworth Ave.

Bus pickup 4:30pm Drop off 8:15pm

LOCATION

"Set in Stone" Gathering Space in the Burnham Wildlife Corridor. Meet in the parking lot just west of Lake Shore Drive on the south side of 31st Street.
