View rich, colorful paintings of artists from the Philippines and the Chicago area—all inspired by artifacts from Field Museum collections and partner museums in the Philippines.
Five Filipino artists and five local Filipino-American artists each created original paintings, now on display in the Museum’s Marae Gallery. The artists then collaborated to create a vivid 30-foot mural in the gallery space. The project builds upon the ongoing co-curation initiative of The Field Museum, local Filipino communities, and institutions in the Philippines.
