In Summer 2012, The Hall of Birds at the Field Museum, one of the most outstanding displays of birds in the world, reopened following extensive upgrades. With updated content, reflecting new information about the relationships between bird species, the hall has a new graphic design look, along with new paint and flooring. Digital labels (using iPad technology), new engaging media elements, and an “Artists’ Corner”, let visitors discover and share their passion for these beautiful and amazing animals once again.
Thanks to generous contributions from Ronald and Christina Gidwitz, and the Grainger Digital Initiative.
