Docent-Led Tours

Add a free docent-led tour to your museum visit and get an in-depth look at some of The Field Museum's world famous exhibitions. Meet your docent tour guide at the Information Booth in Stanley Field Hall.  Tours typically last 45-60 minutes. 

Museum Highlights Tour

11:00am daily

Learn about the Museum's rich history, world-class collections and exhibitions, and the science and research being conducted behind the scenes.   

SUE Talk

12:00pm daily

Learn about SUE, the largest and most popular T. rex in the world.  Duration 15-20 minutes. 

Pawnee Earth Lodge  

Weekdays, Monday - Friday:  10:00 - 12:00pm and 1:00 - 3:00pm.  

Weekends, Saturday and Sunday:  10:00am to 4:30pm. 

Walk into a traditional 1800s home of the Pawnee and learn about Native American life out west on the Great Plains.  This is an open-house format. Please meet us at the Pawnee Earth Lodge during open house hours.
