Become a member now and experience The Field Museum's 66th annual Members' Nights on May 18 and 19, 2017.
How are specimens cleaned and prepared? How are exhibitions designed? Have you seen our live insects collection? Less than 1% of our collection of 30 million specimens and artifacts is on public display, the rest is stored in vast behind-the-scenes areas!
This is the one time each year where Field Museum members have a chance to explore areas normally off limits to the public, talk to scientists and curators, and see parts of our collection that are not on display. There's a whole world behind our public areas that you don't want to miss! We can't wait to see you—share your experience with #MembersNight66.
All exhibitions will be open, and there will be activities for both kids and adults. Get a glimpse of what the evenings are like with a video from our 2015 Members' Nights. Space is limited and reservations are required.
Already a member? Check you mailbox in March for your invitation.
The Museum will close to the public at 4:00pm and reopen at 5:00pm for this event. Any photos or videos taken by Field Museum staff during Members' Nights may be used to promote the Museum.
