The Field Museum is pleased to announce the Bass Postdoctoral Fellowship. The successful candidate will be expected to complement and/or participate in any one of the ongoing research programs in the Integrative Research Center at the Field Museum. Research projects are being pursued in the areas of Life Sciences, Social Sciences, and Earth and Planetary Sciences. Individual curators, research scientists and their research programs are featured on the list of sponsors and in the Research & Collections section. Priority is given to projects that have an interdisciplinary component.
Applications will be reviewed both for merit and suitability with the research and collections strengths of the Museum. The scientific motivation of a project should be also given in a broad context understandable to a scientific non-specialist.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact relevant sponsors prior to application.
