The Blithfield meteorite was found in 1910 in Renfrew County, Ontario. The only sample from the find weighs 1.830 kg. The Blithfield meteorite is an enstatite chondrite that belongs to the low-iron chemical group and was thermally metamorphized in its parent body. It is classified as an EL6 chondrite.
