    Join us in Stanley Field Hall for a special performance of Arabic folk songs.

    Multi instrumentalist & folk dancer Karim Nagi will perform music & dance from around the Arab world. He will also demonstrate two styles of community folkloric dance. Mr Nagi has performed Arabiqa in hundreds of schools, libraries and museums across America for 22 years. He is a Nationally Accredited Teaching Artist for Young Audiences Arts For Learning.

    His journey can be seen in his TEDx Talk "The Tambourine; My Partner in Diplomacy & Disruption."

    This event is held in conjunction with the Field Museum’s Arab American Heritage Month programming.
