Collections Club: Citizen Science Month

About this recurring event

Scientists here and around the world need your help! Join us online to transcribe scientific labels from our collections.

WeDigBio volunteers sit at a table with computers and notes on paper and transcribe natural history collection records.

Citizen Science Month recognizes how individuals of all experiences can impact science. Getting the public involved with scientific research, data collection, and more at home or online helps scientists to better understand our shared world and make discoveries for a brighter future.

Celebrate Citizen Science Month with the Field Museum’s collections club. From April 8 through 10, join us online to preserve centuries of data about life on Earth. You’ll record data on organisms like mammals and insects, virtually meet our scientists, and tune in for behind-the-scenes tours of our collections.

This virtual event is free with advance registration.
