Focused Field Trips

During this professional development program, we will reflect on the value of the field trip experience. How do educators and students feel in the museum? How can field trips create access and promote equity? What makes field trips challenging, and what are some strategies to address those challenges? Together we will explore the learning resources that are available at the museum, and design a focused field trip (pre, during, and post visit experience).

We will also model the process of signing up for a field trip, field trip class, and accessing the Harris Learning Collection catalog. 

Educators who participate will receive 2 CPDUs. This is a free program. Please register by filling out this Google form.
