Field Explorers Camp

About this recurring event

Uncover the science behind nature’s incredible adaptations with this summer camp for young learners.

Children, accompanied by a counselor, race through the grass on the Museum Campus pulling kites along.

This summer, set young explorers on a journey through the animal kingdom. Field Explorers Camp invites kids ages 5–10 to investigate the fascinating ways plants, animals, and bugs have adapted to survive and thrive in their unique environments.

Campers also connect with our scientists and tour exhibitions to learn how the Field Museum studies nature. Through hands-on activities like art-making and learning games, campers discover the science of life on Earth while building problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Field Explorers Camp hosts three 5-day sessions. Each day runs from 9am to 3pm. Sign-in begins at 8:30am.

Applications for our need-based scholarships are closed.
