About this event

Explore science after hours with the whole family!

Calling all young scientists ready for their next big adventure! Grab your explorer gear and prepare for a museum visit...after hours. At the Field Museum's Undernight Event, families with children ages 2-6 can see the museum come to life in an exclusive late-night experience for young learners.

Event guests will enjoy after-hours access to the museum’s exhibitions (including Wild Color and Underground Adventure), discover hands-on science activities, engage in storytelling and music programs with partners like the Old Town School of Folk Music, meet Field Museum scientists, and more! Kiddos will also be supplied with Undernight Adventure Kits to support their expeditions throughout exhibition spaces.

Furthermore, at the Field Museum, we know no journey is complete without a trusty friend by our side. Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal buddy or toy sidekick to share the magic of the museum with too.

Spark curiosity, explore new ideas and make discoveries with your littles in this exclusive after hours experience! Get your tickets for the Field Museum’s Undernight event below.
