Family-Friendly Exhibitions
Planning your visit
Exploring and having fun are your top priorities (ours, too!). Our family-friendly amenities can help your day go smoothly.
Where to eat
Stop by the Explorer Cafe for a quick break or a kid-friendly meal. Bringing food from home? Grab a table in the picnic areas on the ground level.
Restrooms
There are two family-friendly restrooms on the ground level near the Siragusa Center and Explorer Cafe. A single-stall, all-gender bathroom is also available near the Explorer Cafe.
Strollers
If you’re visiting with a stroller, we suggest arriving at our accessible East Entrance. Rental strollers are available for $3 ($5 for double strollers) near each entrance or at the coat check when in season. Strollers are allowed everywhere except ticketed special exhibitions, where stroller parking is available near the exhibition entrance.
Nursing
Mothers are welcome to nurse wherever they are comfortable in the museum. A private nursing room is also available in the women’s restroom behind the Siragusa Center on the ground level.
Ready to make your way to the Field? Select your tickets and check directions and parking.
