About this event

Hear from unique voices as guest poets visit the museum in this series, co-sponsored by the Poetry Foundation.

A typewriter, stacks of paper, notebooks, and pens, are arranged a top a desk.

Poets in the Field welcomes an engaging set of poets with distinct voices to the museum to share their work and creatively connect visitors to nature and culture. Listen as each poet reads their poems in our exhibitions. Then, stay for a Q&A with the poet. No prior experience with poetry necessary.

To hear from Margaret Noodin, meet in Stanley Field Hall on the main level.

This event is hosted by the Field’s poet-in-residence and co-sponsored by the Poetry Foundation. Locations inside the Field Museum vary for each event.

Want to hear more from our poet-in-residence? Learn more about him on our blog or stop by a Poetry Pop-Up.
