Missing SUE, everyone’s favorite T. rex? Us, too.
Visit SUE in these online events and brush up on little-known facts about the most complete Tyrannosaurus rex. Field Museum staff will guide you from SUE’s life in the Cretaceous to the latest scientific research. Using a 3D virtual model scanned straight from SUE’s fossilized bones, they’ll point out key features that give hints about SUE’s past.
Trivia breaks give you the chance to test your dinosaur knowledge. Plus, submit your questions using the Q&A feature of Zoom Webinar (or sending them to us directly 24 hours ahead of your scheduled tour.) We’ll answer your questions during your tour.
This online event is free with a suggested $10 donation and is suitable for adults, families, and kids (recommended for ages 5 and older). Tours are available every other month, 3:30–4:30pm.
Virtual tours for classrooms
We offer special tours just for students every Tuesday, 10am–11am. These events are free with advance registration. One tour hosts all classrooms and student groups who registered for that day.
