Tween Camp

About this recurring event

Immerse young learners ages 11–13 in science and natural history with this week-long camp.

A group of Tween Camp participants gather outside to listen to a woman speak. The women’s face is not visible. Some participants stand behind her on grass. Others stand in front of her on a sidewalk.

Young learners ages 11–13 explore dinosaurs, bugs, fish, and more with hands-on activities in this week-long camp. Partnering with scientists and educators, campers go behind the scenes in our exhibitions and collections and create unique, science-based projects.

Tween Camp runs from 9am to 3pm, every day camp is in session. Campers may check in at 8:45am at the East Entrance and out at 3pm. Lunch is not provided.

Participants must turn 11 by June 1 to participate in the program. Space is limited.
