Cat Café with Anti-Cruelty and World’s Best Cat Litter ®

Our newest temporary exhibition, Cats: Predators to Pets, examines what makes a cat, a cat! In order to take an even closer look at these fascinating creatures, we’re partnering with our Exhibition Sponsor, World’s Best Cat Litter®, and Anti-Cruelty, a local animal welfare organization, to host cat cafés at the Museum. Anti-Cruelty will be bringing cats currently available for adoption* at their River North Adoption Center for visitors to pet, cuddle, and play with. Access to the Cat Café will be included with admission to the Museum, but availability is limited. Entry will be timed to allow as many individuals to engage with the cats as possible. 

*Please note that animals at the Field Museum will not be available for immediate, on-site adoption. If you are interested in adopting an animal, please see an Anti-Cruelty representative for more information.
