Video: Field Museum Summer Internships

During the summertime the Field Museum opens its world class natural history and cultural collections and laboratories to over one hundred interns.

Science internship funding and support is generously provided by a number of sources:

The Hyndman Fund, the Prince fund, the Pritzker Fund, the Wood Internship Fund, the CIRRUS Summer Program with DePaul University and the NSF Student Center for Science Engagement, Northeastern Illinois, Boone Scholars Internships for East Asian Studies, The Anthropology Alliance Field and Collections Internships, Regenstein Endowment for Pacific Collections, Mullins Martin Fund for Native American Scholars, University of Chicago for the Metcalf Internships, and Lewis and Misty Gruber.

The Research-Experience-for-Undergraduate internships (REU) are funded through grants by the National Science Foundation (DBI 08-49958 and  DBI 11-56594).
