About this event

In this two-hour workshop at the Field Museum, you will have the chance to learn from our expert Conservation Ecologist about gardening with plants native to Illinois. Take a tour of the Field Museum’s Rice Native Gardens, and learn how to incorporate our native plants into your own gardens. After the tour, you'll create your own nature sunprints, capturing the essence of the plants around you. This hands-on experience is perfect for nature lovers and anyone interested in sustainable gardening practices.

All workshops include parking and free admission to the museum for the day . These workshops are available for adults ages 18+ and open to all skill levels. Space is very limited, and participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All registrations will be confirmed by email.

Please reach out to us at adults@fieldmuseum.org with any questions.
