What will campers do?
Campers will have the opportunity to engage with the natural world through tailored learning experiences and an up-close look at our collections. Choose a topic—from dinosaurs and prehistoric ocean predators to birds and other flying creatures, or learn how animals use color to their advantage. Our camps will give children the chance to meet with Field Museum scientists and professionals, explore behind-the-scenes lab spaces, participate in exhibition tours, guided scientific activities and demonstrations, and outdoor games.
Summer camps are scheduled for the last three weeks of June, for two weeks in July, and for two weeks in August. The grade band for each camp refers to the grade a camper will be entering in the fall. For dates, please check the summer camp page for the desired grade. Sessions are available for purchase in one- and two-week packages, starting at $500.
