Foster a love of science and exploration all summer long.

There’s so much to learn about the world around us and the connection we have to planet Earth. Explore this and more with our Field Explorers Summer Camps. Our in-person summer camps are designed for kids in grades K–8 with one- and two-week sessions to choose from.
We still have spaces available in our July and August sessions but all sales are final. More information can be found on the FAQ page.

What will campers do?
Campers will have the opportunity to engage with the natural world through tailored learning experiences and up-close encounters with our collections. Choose a topic—from dinosaurs and prehistoric ocean predators to birds and other flying creatures, or learn how animals use color to their advantage. Our camps will give children the chance to meet with Field Museum scientists and professionals, explore behind-the-scenes lab spaces, participate in exhibition tours, guided scientific activities and demonstrations, and outdoor games.
Summer camps are scheduled for the last three weeks of June, for two weeks in July, and for three weeks in August.
