    Experience the Field Museum’s newest temporary exhibition at this after-hours event.

    In Unseen Oceans, explore the mysterious, rarely-seen world hidden beneath the ocean’s surface. Pilot through the depths in an interactive submersible game, discover glow-in-the-dark sea creatures and get up close to live ocean animals. Dive into the unknown in this hands-on, immersive new exhibition and experience an ocean you never imagined.

    We invite you to explore the ocean's depths at the Museum on the evening of March 19, 2024, for an exclusive after-hours opportunity to see our newest special exhibition, Unseen Oceans. Join us for an evening full of engaging family activities and a chance to hear from Field Museum experts during a panel discussion in James Simpson Theatre. We hope to see you there!

    • 5:30pm: Doors open. Enjoy member-only access to Unseen Oceans. The Field Bistro will have food and drinks available for purchase. Family friendly activities available in Stanley Field Hall.
    • 6:30pm: Panel discussion: The Science Behind Unseen Oceans
    • 7:30pm: Reception for Discovery Circle Members.
    • 8:30pm: Event ends.
