Come spend your days off with the Field Museum!

Make discoveries — and memories!—at the Field Museum seasonal camps. Campers will encounter the natural world and human cultures through exciting and fun experiences. Make friends, learn how Field Museum scientists do their work, investigate using real scientific tools, and discover a whole new side of science.

Field Explorers Day Off Camps are for children in grades 1-4, or equivalent. These new camps will be offered several times throughout the school year during typical school break periods. 

  • Two-day sessions, 9am-3pm, Monday-Tuesday
  • Camps cost $200 per session for the general public and $180 for museum members
  • Please note: This camp is not an overnight event.

Wild Winter Wonders—December 29 & 30

Explore the amazing adaptations that allow animals to conquer the coldest climates. From blubber to fur to other ice-cold adaptations, you’ll explore, experiment, and discover how the animal kingdom beats the freeze. Get ready to experience.
