    I'm Marching for Science!

The March for Science is taking place on Saturday, April 22nd, in Washington, D.C. and in hundreds of cities around the world. I'll be participating here in Chicago with my Field Museum colleagues, and with thousands of other science supporters.

The March for Science is taking place on Saturday, April 22nd, in Washington, D.C. and in hundreds of cities around the world. I'll be participating here in Chicago with my Field Museum colleagues, and with thousands of other science supporters.

The March for Science organizers are compiling statements and stories from scientists and enthusiasts alike about how #ScienceServes our daily lives. Share yours on Twitter.

The March for Science Mission:  "The March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good and for political leaders and policy makers to enact evidence based policies in the public interest."

Thank you to all of The Field participants who helped make this video possible, and to the March for Science for supporting this message. :)

Oh, and to Gavin (and his Mom; thanks, Gavin's Mom!) for excitedly volunteering to be our first testimony for the day.
