St. Joseph County Parks for BioBlitz on June 9th
Join St. Joseph County Parks for BioBlitz on June 9th. The event is scheduled from 8am to 3pm (EST) at Spicer Lake Nature Preserve in New Carlisle, Indiana.
Spicer Lake is a 320-acre state dedicated nature preserve. We have been granted special permission from the IDNR to conduct the BioBlitz at this site, with a some restrictions. Top snatching of plants is permitted. For more details on guidelines, contact Maria Peacock.
We have some great scientists and specialists on board this year, but we can always use more! If you are interested in participating, contact Maria at mpeacock@sjcparks.org. RSVPs are required by May 25. T-shirts, lunch and additional refreshments will be provided for participants.
