About this event series
Schedule a customized professional development program for educators. Learn the ins and outs of planning successful focused field trips, discover how to bring the museum’s digital resources into your classrooms, or dive deep into content. These sessions include an introduction to the Museum's free educational resources as well as interactive activities designed to meet customized learning goals.
Who can schedule an in-service?
Group leaders of teacher education courses, professional education organizations, preK–12 school faculties, or other educator-groups.
How much does an in-service cost?
Onsite at the Field Museum:
- $35 per teacher. This fee includes parking.
Offsite at Participants' School:
- Fewer than 30 participants, $200
- 31 - 60 participants, $300
- 61 - 90 participants, $400
- 91 - 120 participants, $500
How do you schedule an in-service?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org at least one month prior to the requested In-service date. Once your request form has been received, we will contact you to confirm the in-service.
When and how do you pay for an in-service?
We accept payment by check or credit card. Payment must be received at least two weeks prior to the program date. If we do not receive payment by that time, your in-service may be cancelled. For other questions about our in-service sessions email email@example.com
