Summer Camps and Programs

Spend the summer making discoveries at the Field Museum! Field Explorers Summer Camps are perfect for curious minds in grades K-8. Campers get the chance to join museum experts and scientists on guided explorations of the museum’s exhibitions and collections to find answers to their own scientific questions.

We also offer options for our littlest campers through the PlayLab Summer Camps programs.

Summer Camps will return in 2026. In the meantime, come spend your days off with the Field Museum! Check out our new Day-Off Camps for school breaks.

Field Explorer Day-Off Camps

Field Explorers Day Off Camps are for children in grades 1-4, or equivalent. These new camps will be offered several times throughout the school year during typical school break periods.

Please visit the Day-Off Camps page for all the details!

Health & Safety Information

In order to improve the collection and management of personal information, the Field Museum is partnering with CampDoc.com. CampDoc is a secure and easy-to-use web-based solution for managing health forms, allergies, medications, and contact information. Only Museum Camps administrative staff and instructors will have access to camper health information, and the CampDoc.com site is secure, encrypted, and password protected.

Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email from register@campdoc.com. All forms will need to be completed 1 month before your camp begins.
