      Catherine is a Conservation Ecologist for the Chicago Region in the Keller Science Action Center. She works on native planting and restoration projects in the city of Chicago and Calumet region. Her interest in plants, ecology, and habitat restoration began when she volunteered at various stewardship workdays. She was previously a land manager in an urban park in St. Louis, leading a crew in woodland and savanna restoration. Catherine is also a scientific illustrator who paints native flora and fauna of the Midwest.

      Education and Work

      Catherine received a B.S.E. from the University of Michigan and an M.S. in Environmental Conservation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
